An analyst will support the production and maintenance of fixed-income indices by validating market data, researching corporate actions, supporting rebalancing, and preparing analyses for client requests.
Responsibilities
- Research and validate corporate actions affecting fixed-income index constituents using vendor information and regulatory filings
- Support daily index production by checking security-level pricing and analytics data and resolving exceptions
- Support monthly index rebalancing by validating constituent changes and gathering corroborating evidence
- Respond to client questions about rebalancing and coordinate issue resolution with reference-data operations
- Prepare recurring research publication templates with charts and data tables
- Create and verify custom index setup templates for senior analyst review
- Collect data and prepare analyses for ad hoc client requests
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- 1–4 years of experience in financial services or market data
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access, plus Python or another scripting language
- Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under strict time constraints
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
