An external recruiter is seeking a Senior Treasurer for an international technology-manufacturing company with overseas subsidiaries. The role reports to the CFO and owns the company and group treasury function as a hands-on sole contributor. It follows a hybrid model with four days on site and one؟
Responsibilities
- Manage company and group cash flow and liquidity sources, including short- and medium-term forecasting.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions in Israel and abroad, including credit facilities, loans, guarantees, deposits, commercial terms, and signing authorities.
- Manage foreign-exchange and interest-rate exposures and execute hedging transactions in line with company policy.
- Oversee payment preparation, approvals, and execution for suppliers, employees, authorities, financial institutions, and other parties.
- Optimize cash balances, financing sources, and intercompany fund transfers.
- Monitor compliance with financial covenants and obligations to banks and lenders.
- Improve treasury processes, controls, and procedures.
- Manage passive income.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, required.
- At least 10 years of professional treasury experience, including substantial experience as a Treasurer in a company with annual business volume of at least USD 100 million.
- Significant direct experience working with banks in Israel and internationally.
- Proven experience managing cash flow, liquidity sources, and credit.
- Hands-on experience managing foreign-exchange exposures and executing hedging transactions.
- Experience managing payment processes and payment controls.
- Very high-level English proficiency, required.
- Excellent Excel skills, required.
- Strong analytical ability, independence, attention to detail, and effective collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with Priority ERP and other treasury systems.
