A global SaaS organization is seeking a Senior Finance Director to act as second-in-command to the Deputy CFO and lead the transformation, modernization, and scalability of the Finance organization.
Responsibilities
- Act as a business partner to the Deputy CFO and support global Finance strategy execution
- Lead Finance transformation, process optimization, automation, organizational redesign, and standardization
- Lead ERP implementation and optimization projects
- Modernize and scale Finance processes for a growing global organization
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Manage external auditor relationships and coordinate annual audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and corporate governance
- Partner with IT, Operations, HR, and business leaders on strategic Finance projects
- Oversee month-end and year-end close, actual-versus-budget analysis, and forecasting
- Lead financial due diligence, deal execution, agreement reviews, and purchase price allocation for M&A activities
- Drive post-merger integration of Finance processes, systems, controls, reporting, and organizational structures
- Identify efficiency improvements through automation, AI, and established Finance practices
Requirements
- CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
- At least 15 years of progressive Finance experience, including senior leadership responsibilities
- Experience as a Senior Finance Director, Finance Director, or equivalent
- Proven leadership of ERP implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Experience leading finance transformation, process redesign, automation, and change management
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Nice to have
- Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Experience in SaaS financial models and metrics
- Experience in global, multinational organizations
