Lead the accounting department, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, month-end closings, balance sheet reconciliations, tax bookings, and compliance with internal/external audit standards. Manage team KPIs and process improvements in a retail and sporting goods manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Optimize accounting department structure and resources
- Coordinate daily bookings, monthly reporting, and month-end closing
- Administer accounting system and global chart of accounts
- Monitor and reconcile monthly balance sheet and P&L movements
- Review all payments before submission to authorized signatories
- Manage accurate bookings of tax liabilities with Tax function
- Ensure compliance with internal audit procedures and external audit
- Manage full accounting department personnel, set targets, and develop team
- Monitor KPIs and highlight deviations to management
Requirements
- Bookkeeping level 3 or Accounting Diploma
- 3+ years functional experience
- 2+ years leadership experience
- Expert in SAP and Excel
- Good English and fluent Hebrew
Nice to have
- Industry experience in FMCG or Retail
