A global manufacturing company seeks a SOX Manager and Assistant Controller to oversee global controls, support financial reporting and audits, and improve ERP processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage global SOX controls, including scoping, control matrices, process updates, risk identification, and risk management.
- Prepare control-testing documentation and working papers; review control documentation from global subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with external consultants and independent auditors.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual standalone and consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
- Support external audits and liaise with government authorities.
- Improve ERP processes affecting financial reporting, documentation, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Hands-on SOX experience.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and its practical application.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Nice to have
- Experience as an Assistant Controller or SOX Manager in a corporation or Big Four firm.
- Experience in a publicly traded global company.
- Oracle experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and AI tools.
