Senior Systems Software Engineer, Signing Platform

Own the regional operation and continued engineering of an HSM-backed product-signing platform. Support Israel-based teams, improve reliability, automate self-service, and collaborate with engineering groups across Israel, the United States, and India.
Responsibilities
- Own the signing service for Israel-based teams during local hours, including triage, debugging, incident resolution, and escalation
- Review and deploy production fixes and address root causes in the platform
- Onboard networking and other regional teams to signing and key-generation workflows
- Build AI-enabled self-service capabilities, including integrations, runbooks, and documentation
- Represent regional release calendars and bring-up milestones in platform planning
- Collaborate with teams in Israel, the United States, and India, including DevOps and release management
- Help hire, interview, onboard, and mentor future team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience building and operating production software with ownership of a production service
- Experience with on-call operations and resolving incidents under release pressure
- Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or a similar language
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
- Understanding of applied cryptography, including PKI, digital signatures, and key management, or the ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar technical domains
- Clear English communication and sound judgment when keeping customers informed during incidents
Nice to have
- Experience with code signing, HSMs, secure boot, or software supply chain security
- Familiarity with Gerrit, GitLab, Artifactory, firmware, and networking release pipelines
- Experience using AI and agentic tools to automate repetitive work
