A hardware and computing technology company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build high-scale software-defined networking management solutions for supercomputers and data centers.
Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure for controlling, monitoring, and collecting telemetry from production environments
- Build and lead development of scalable software-defined networking management solutions
- Co-design software features and APIs with engineering teams
- Deliver software products for high-performance supercomputing and data-center environments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience programming in Python and C/C++
- At least 3 years of experience working in Linux environments and with Linux tools
- Expert knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems
- Experience with performance optimization
Nice to have
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols, including InfiniBand and Ethernet
- Creative problem-solving skills
