Join an analytics infrastructure company developing algorithms for database operations on a purpose-built hardware accelerator. The role spans software, hardware, systems, and applications, with a focus on performance and new product capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Research state-of-the-art algorithms and techniques for data analytics and hardware acceleration
- Implement algorithms in software and simulate their performance
- Optimize algorithms for database operations running on hardware accelerators
- Collaborate with software and hardware engineers
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to key design decisions
Requirements
- BSc or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another relevant STEM field
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- Proven experience developing algorithms
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Familiarity with computer architecture
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have
- Experience with database systems and SQL
- Experience with hardware acceleration systems or ASICs
