Lead and mentor a software engineering team developing core components of a large-scale Network-as-a-Service platform. Combine people leadership with hands-on architecture, coding, and technical problem-solving across networking, cloud, performance, scale, and security.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
- Drive the architecture and development of core Network-as-a-Service components.
- Write production code and contribute to technical design and complex problem-solving.
- Build high-performance, cloud-native networking services using technologies such as VPP, DPDK, and Kubernetes.
- Promote engineering excellence and support the professional growth of team members.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience managing a software development team.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on programming experience in Go, C++, C, Python, or a similar language.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including protocols, routing, and tunneling.
- Experience with Linux-based systems, cloud environments, and cloud networking.
- Experience with high-scale production environments using on-premises or cloud-based Kubernetes.
- Strong technical leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with high-performance packet processing technologies such as VPP or DPDK.
- Experience with AI/ML, AI-driven features, or modern AI development tools and frameworks.
