Develop C++ software components and simulations for complex, distributed soft real-time systems. Help shape system architecture and integrate solutions across development teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop C++ software and simulation components in an SDK environment
- Design and build system components end to end, including algorithms, logic, communications, UI, and analysis tools
- Create simulations of future operational scenarios and concepts for evaluation, demonstration, analysis, and review
- Contribute to system architecture and lead technical solutions
- Lead system integration with multiple development groups
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- At least 3 years of C++ development experience
- Experience developing and integrating AI-based solutions
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and systems thinking
- Experience developing soft real-time systems
- Experience with Git and structured development processes
Nice to have
- Experience developing simulation or gaming engines
- Experience with distributed systems and service networking
- Knowledge of multithreading, performance optimization, and memory management
- Experience developing UI for operational evaluation
- Experience developing or integrating AI-based solutions
- Experience operating or developing military or security systems
