Responsibilities

Own the signal-processing backend of the sensing system, from demodulated optical signals to acoustic applications.
Develop signal-processing algorithms for underwater sensing.
Work with data acquisition systems and real-time or near-real-time signal analysis.
Integrate and calibrate sensors.

Requirements

Master’s degree in electrical engineering, acoustics, physics, applied mathematics, or a related field.
At least 7 years of acoustic signal-processing experience.
Experience with underwater sensing technologies and applications.
Strong digital signal-processing skills, including filtering, spectral analysis, statistical estimation, and array processing.
Hands-on algorithm development using Python with NumPy and SciPy, and/or MATLAB.
Experience with data acquisition systems, real-time or near-real-time signal analysis, sensor integration, and calibration.
