Join a software and systems architecture team developing next-generation datacenter networking platforms. Own end-to-end system design across NICs, switches, accelerators, and GPUs, working with R&D teams, product leaders, field teams, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Define, analyze, and review system architectures and data/control flows across NICs, switches, accelerators, and GPUs
- Design QoS policies and traffic-management schemes addressing latency, bandwidth, and isolation requirements
- Define system-management flows for configuration, provisioning, and lifecycle operations
- Specify end-to-end telemetry, observability, and monitoring requirements
- Lead architecture and design reviews and maintain system diagrams, interface definitions, and design documentation
- Translate customer use cases into system-level requirements and serve as a point of contact for architecture questions
- Support investigations of complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and interoperability problems
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts and L2/L3/L4 protocols, routing, switching, QoS, and congestion control
- Experience with high-performance systems involving NICs, switches, accelerators, or GPUs
- Experience in system-level architecture, data-flow design, or large-scale system integration
- Familiarity with configuration and management protocols such as Netconf/REST, gNMI, SNMP, or gRPC-based APIs
- Experience defining or using telemetry and observability systems, including counters, traces, logs, or streaming telemetry
- Ability to create clear architecture documents and diagrams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and hands-on system investigation skills
Nice to have
- Experience with datacenter, AI/ML, or HPC network architectures
- Background with RDMA, RoCE, NVMe-oF, or similar high-performance I/O technologies
- Customer-facing experience in architecture, solution engineering, or technical pre- or post-sales roles
