Lead the architecture of large-scale, data-dense frontend systems for semiconductor equipment software. Own shared platforms, rendering, state management, micro-frontends, real-time data flows, and performance across multiple teams in Rehovot.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end frontend architecture for SEM software domains, client applications, shared UI infrastructure, rendering, and real-time data flows
- Design and evolve frontend architectures built on React, TypeScript, and Redux
- Create shared platforms or frameworks and drive adoption across teams
- Architect and operate a Module Federation micro-frontend ecosystem
- Define application state management strategy across distributed frontend systems
- Design and optimize high-volume, continuously updating interfaces and visualization systems
- Lead frontend performance engineering and optimization
- Establish architectural governance through design reviews, standards, and reference patterns
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Mentor engineers and architects and develop a frontend architecture community of practice
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in web-client architecture or technical leadership
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and Redux, including rendering behavior and performance at scale
- Proven experience designing large and complex frontend architectures
- Strong application state management experience at scale
- Production experience with micro-frontends and Module Federation, including boundaries, shared dependencies, versioning, and independent deployment
- Experience designing a platform or framework from scratch and driving adoption across teams
- Experience building data-dense, continuously updating interfaces using canvas/WebGL, image rendering, large grids, or visualization
- Experience with browser-based real-time transports such as WebSocket or SSE
- Strong frontend performance engineering skills, including profiling, measurement, performance budgets, and optimization
- Ability to design systems around domain models, team structures, release cadence, and legacy constraints
