Join a platform engineering team building the cloud-native foundation for an AI-powered IT management platform. This hands-on leadership role combines architecture, scalable backend development, infrastructure, and developer experience across multiple engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services with C# and .NET Core.
- Lead the evolution of cloud-native platform and microservices architecture.
- Build infrastructure and developer platforms that improve engineering productivity.
- Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud platforms.
- Make architectural decisions focused on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Improve developer experience and platform capabilities with engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across multiple teams.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building cloud-native systems on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Expert proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C#/.NET Core or Java.
- Experience designing and building highly scalable RESTful microservices.
- Experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience with spec-driven development and AI-assisted implementation, including validation of code quality, architecture, security, and performance.
- Strong focus on testing, observability, and code quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence technical decisions across teams.
Nice to have
- Experience configuring AI development tools, MCP servers, custom instructions, or reusable prompt libraries.
- Experience optimizing large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of performance optimization, memory management, and .NET garbage collection.
