Responsibilities
- Explore networking features and protocols, hardware and software capabilities, open-source software, and drivers for Ethernet switch ASICs and networking platforms.
- Define and implement proofs of concept using network and system simulations.
- Write embedded software requirements for AI/ML workloads and high-performance networking.
- Collaborate with R&D and validation teams, providing technical guidance and support.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 1–5 years of experience in system architecture, networking technologies, and embedded software.
- Knowledge of networking-device operating systems, networking features, and protocols.
- Ability to research and prototype ideas and communicate them clearly in writing and verbally.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Ethernet/IP technologies, networking operating systems, simulation, and performance benchmarking tools.
- Research experience in data-center networking or switch ASIC hardware and software.
- Experience applying machine learning methods to networking problems.
