Co-found and lead the technology development of an autonomous robotic blood-draw station. Own the initial architecture, hands-on MVP execution, product lifecycle, and growth of the engineering organization. This role offers significant equity and no salary until the company closes its pre-seed round
Responsibilities
- Define the technology vision and strategy for an autonomous robotics station
- Design the initial system architecture and translate between hardware and software
- Develop computer vision systems for real-time imaging and vascular mapping
- Build robotic control systems capable of sub-millimeter precision and movement compensation
- Lead product development from concept to early deployment
- Develop technology roadmaps and eventually build and manage a cross-functional engineering team
Requirements
- Relevant degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong hands-on experience in software development, computer vision, robotics, and system architecture
- Ability to design complex systems and build an initial MVP
- Capability to lead an end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through early deployment
- Ability to develop technology roadmaps, align technology strategy with business goals, and mentor an engineering team
Nice to have
- Advanced degree
- Experience with medical devices or other high-reliability domains
- Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards and quality assurance
