Lead and mentor a team of experienced engineers to design and develop high-performance, scalable network security solutions. Drive architecture, implementation, and testing for a cloud-delivered SASE platform. Requires deep expertise in C, Linux, multithreading, networking protocols, and performance optimization in SMP environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering ownership and professional growth.
- Design, implement, and test enterprise network security solutions.
- Conduct research and prototyping for new features and product ideas.
- Adopt and integrate new technologies into the product.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on software development for large-scale network or security solutions.
- 2+ years of team lead experience.
- In-depth knowledge of networking and network protocols.
- Strong proficiency with C in multithreaded environments.
- Experience customizing Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with frequently released production code and SaaS infrastructure.
- Expertise in designing highly scalable services, especially in SMP environments.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Hands-on experience profiling system performance and analyzing traffic/throughput patterns.
