Build and maintain low-level endpoint security components for Windows and macOS clients used by enterprise and household users. Own features through development, release, and production support while collaborating across engineering, product, quality assurance, and technical support teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop core low-level components for Windows and macOS endpoint clients
- Research technologies, including AI applications that improve engineering and product capabilities
- Own new features and lead collaborative delivery from development through completion
- Support the full application lifecycle, including release management and production support
- Collaborate with quality assurance, technical support, product management, and engineering teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- At least 6 years of hands-on software engineering experience
- Production experience with C, C++, or Rust
- Strong low-level systems experience on Windows, macOS, or Linux
- Understanding of multithreading, synchronization, and data structures
- Experience with networking, network protocols, and networking environments
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, communicate effectively, and collaborate across teams
Nice to have
- Experience building endpoint security software such as EPP or EDR
- Experience with drivers, system extensions, or kernel-adjacent code
- Familiarity with C#, Swift, Python, Java, Go, or backend services
- Hands-on experience applying AI to engineering or product development
