Join a global payments platform as a senior security engineer focused on secure cloud infrastructure, application security, and DevOps architecture. Lead scalable, security-by-design solutions across infrastructure, networks, and applications.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions for cloud infrastructure, networks, and applications.
- Use Python, APIs, and infrastructure as code to automate and manage infrastructure.
- Lead architectural design and implementation across infrastructure lifecycles.
- Define and maintain organizational security standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Integrate security into software development and infrastructure deployment processes.
- Evaluate security technologies and tools to improve the security posture.
- Develop security reference architectures and reusable patterns for engineering teams.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Advise and mentor engineering teams on security topics.
- Monitor security trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in DevOps or software engineering, with a strong focus on infrastructure and application security architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and leading infrastructure lifecycles in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Advanced Terraform expertise is mandatory, including developing infrastructure-as-code modules through production deployment.
- Strong Python and API development skills.
- Expertise in low-level networking.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences across cultures.
- Strategic, proactive approach to building secure and scalable systems.
