Join a cybersecurity company building software that manages enterprise network switches and protects operational technology infrastructure. Own the integration layer across backend services, network protocols, and device automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and build software that communicates directly with enterprise network switches.
- Own network-device integrations across backend services and networking components.
- Support new network management protocols and additional vendors.
- Build cloud backend services that process and use device data.
- Solve distributed-systems challenges involving concurrency, reliability, and scale.
- Deliver production software that protects operational technology infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Go, C#, Java, or C++.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, VLANs, routing, TCP/IP, and ACLs.
- Hands-on experience automating network devices through technologies such as SSH/CLI, NETCONF, RESTCONF, SNMP, gNMI, Netmiko, or NAPALM.
- Ability to write concurrent, reliable code for real-world network conditions.
Nice to have
- Experience with multi-vendor networks, including Cisco or Aruba.
- Cloud experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with microservices and gRPC.
- Familiarity with IPFIX, NetFlow, or sFlow telemetry protocols.
