Lead a system validation team responsible for next-generation embedded SoCs used in enterprise and data center servers. Own validation strategy, execution, automation, debugging, and sign-off across pre- and post-silicon stages.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor system and validation engineers while remaining hands-on
- Define and execute validation strategies for complex SoC products across pre- and post-silicon stages
- Create product requirements-based validation plans and methodologies
- Develop and maintain validation environments, test frameworks, automation, and infrastructure
- Drive system-level debugging and root-cause analysis across hardware and software boundaries
- Ensure validation coverage and product sign-off meet product and customer requirements
- Support emulation, FPGA, post-silicon bring-up, and system validation activities
- Improve validation processes, tools, and team productivity
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience developing or testing embedded environments
- At least 5 years of experience leading engineering teams
- Excellent knowledge of C programming
- Strong understanding of complex SoC architectures and system-level behavior
- Hands-on experience debugging system-level hardware/software integration issues
- Experience with pre-silicon platforms, including emulation or FPGA
Nice to have
- Experience with validation methodologies and test planning
- Experience developing tests or drivers in embedded Linux
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debuggers
