Seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure quality of Ethernet switch products. Responsibilities include designing and executing tests, reporting bugs, and developing Python automation frameworks. Requires strong networking protocol knowledge and 5+ years experience.
Responsibilities
- Review architecture and requirements for new features.
- Design, develop, and execute tests for new features.
- Report bugs and assist in debugging and verification.
- Execute system tests (regression, performance, functional, security) for Ethernet protocols.
- Write automation tests and framework APIs in Python.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years hands-on experience in QA and networking.
- Proven networking knowledge (switching & routing).
- Strong understanding of BGP/EVPN, VXLAN/OSPF, multicast (PIM/IGMP), QoS (PFC/ECN/RoCE).
- Automation and scripting skills in Python and Linux Bash.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to have
- CCNP/CCIE certification or similar.
- Experience with Python automation and Git/SVN.
- Linux and kernel knowledge; LPIC-2 certification.
- Experience with virtualization: KVM, VMware, ESXi.
