Join an internal system product engineering team validating software infrastructure used across the organization. Own test coverage, automation, debugging, and quality improvements for backend services, data pipelines, internal tools, and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and analyze functional, integration, and regression tests
- Develop and maintain automated test cases and test flows
- Validate backend services, data pipelines, web tools, and internal workflows
- Investigate failures, collect logs, reproduce issues, and identify root causes with developers
- Review and validate features before release for quality and usability
- Monitor and improve automated tests in CI/CD flows
- Document test scenarios, edge cases, and validation coverage
- Provide feedback to developers and infrastructure teams to improve reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or validation engineering
- Experience with test automation
- Familiarity with web-based systems, REST APIs, and backend workflows
- Strong analytical and debugging skills, including logs, exceptions, and environment reproduction
- Good understanding of Linux environments
- Experience with Git or another version-control system
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
Nice to have
- Experience testing backend services, internal tools, or infrastructure software
- Hands-on experience with Django, React, or similar frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience validating log parsing, reporting flows, or automation frameworks
- Ability to design comprehensive validation coverage for complex systems
