Join a web product team as a senior, hands-on QA automation specialist. You will build and maintain scalable automated testing infrastructure, shape automation standards, and support high-quality releases across product and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Playwright and TypeScript test frameworks
- Develop end-to-end, smoke, regression, and critical-path tests for web products and integrations
- Use AI tools and agents to accelerate test generation, debugging, and framework maintenance
- Contribute to automation strategy, testing standards, and quality best practices
- Mentor teammates on automation practices and framework usage
- Coordinate automated coverage with manual testing efforts
- Support release readiness through risk assessment, test execution, and go/no-go decisions
- Partner with Product, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and identify automation risks
- Improve QA processes, tooling, and test coverage
- Support occasional release windows and urgent production validation
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience for web products, with a strong focus on test automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript, or equivalent Selenium or Cypress experience using Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience building automations with AI tools and agents
- Strong understanding of HTTP, authentication, session management, browser behavior, and client-server fundamentals
- Strong debugging and validation skills using tools such as Postman, Swagger, browser developer tools, logs, and monitoring systems
- Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering in release-driven environments
- Experience with Jira or similar tools
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
