Lead the quality engineering function and drive an automation-first transformation for mobile applications in an on-site Tel Aviv role.
Responsibilities
- Own the quality engineering strategy and lead the transition to scalable test automation.
- Lead and mentor QA engineers in a matrix environment.
- Define quality standards, methodologies, KPIs, and quality gates across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and evolve mobile automation for iOS and Android applications built with React Native.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD and release processes.
- Apply AI tools and practices to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Contribute hands-on to automation development when needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in manual and automated QA testing.
- At least 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Hands-on React Native experience is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with Cucumber, Gherkin, or similar tools is required.
- At least 2 years of mobile automation experience with Appium, Detox, or similar tools.
- Programming experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience leading a transition from manual QA to automation.
Nice to have
- Experience applying AI tools and practices to QA or test automation.
