A leading defense technology company in Sderot is seeking an experienced QA Test Team Lead to manage software testing for advanced electro-optical systems combining software, hardware, and algorithms. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software testers
- Own testing activities for complex technology systems
- Serve as the professional quality authority
- Plan and manage testing processes
- Lead test automation initiatives and solutions
- Help ensure the quality of integrated software, hardware, and algorithmic systems
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software testing experience
- At least 3 years of experience managing a testing team
- Experience with test and defect management systems; Jira and Xray are a significant advantage
- Experience with automation tools and programming languages
- Experience leading test automation processes or developing test automation solutions
- Very good English reading and writing skills
- Strong leadership, employee motivation, and systems-thinking abilities
Nice to have
- Experience with multidisciplinary systems combining software and hardware
- Familiarity with electro-optical systems
- Experience with command-and-control systems
- Experience in video, surveillance, and target acquisition technologies
- Experience developing and implementing test automation infrastructure
