A government organization in Jerusalem is seeking a QA Manager to lead its software quality assurance function, manage a large team, and oversee complex testing projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the QA team, including professional and administrative leadership and employee recruitment.
- Lead and support large, complex testing projects.
- Oversee manual and automated testing and implement automation processes across projects.
- Continuously improve and streamline testing processes and introduce new tools and working methods.
- Coordinate with development teams, systems analysts, DBAs, product managers, and business users.
- Track budgets and present status, progress, and updates to management.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience managing information technology and software projects.
- Significant experience managing a QA team of more than 10 employees.
- Significant experience managing and supporting large, complex testing projects.
- Experience establishing and managing test automation in large organizations.
- Strong command of SQL and databases.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for software test management.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Experience working with development teams, systems analysts, DBAs, and business users.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills.
