Lead the quality function for an industrial AI software platform combining cloud, edge computing, industrial connectivity, and AI technologies. Establish QA practices from the ground up, perform hands-on testing, and help grow the QA team over time. This is a hybrid role based in Herzliya or Caesara
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the QA function across software products.
- Define QA methodologies, standards, processes, best practices, and release quality gates.
- Create and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and quality metrics.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites.
- Perform manual and automated testing across software releases.
- Validate cloud, edge, AI-enabled, web, backend, API, and integrated system components.
- Collaborate with software engineering, AI, data science, DevOps, product, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects.
- Drive improvements in testing coverage, software quality, and release confidence.
- Contribute to performance and scalability testing.
- Help build and expand the QA organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in quality assurance for complex software products.
- Previous experience leading QA teams, QA processes, or quality initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and test automation.
- Experience designing QA methodologies and testing strategies.
- Strong Python skills and experience with automated testing frameworks such as Pytest.
- Experience testing web applications, backend services, and distributed systems.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Successful completion of required drug testing and background investigations is required for employment.

- Experience with API and integration testing.
- Experience with performance, scalability, or load testing.

- Experience with Industrial IoT environments.
- Familiarity with frontend testing tools and methodologies.
