We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of testing for our endpoint DLP product. You will build test plans, conduct manual and automated testing, and establish quality processes from the ground up. This is the first QA role on the team, offering a unique opportunity to shape quality strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end testing process for the Agent DLP product.
- Design and execute manual tests for new features, regressions, and system-level scenarios.
- Develop automated tests using Python and frameworks like Pytest to improve coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure testability and quality from design through release.
- Track and report quality metrics and KPIs.
- Reproduce, document, and analyze defects to identify root causes.
- Gradually introduce automation tools and practices as the product matures.
- Help establish a quality culture and practices within the engineering team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Python for automation scripting or test development.
- 2+ years of experience testing endpoint software on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Strong manual testing skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Pytest or similar automation frameworks.
- Experience defining QA processes, writing test cases, and maintaining documentation.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to test low-level components, integrations, and driver behavior on Windows.
