A cybersecurity company is seeking a QA Engineer to perform end-to-end testing of security products in complex virtual and physical networking environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end testing of products within the team’s scope.
- Create complex virtual and physical environments for product testing.
- Run manual and automated QA tests across varied environments and large-scale setups.
- Create test plans for new features and collaborate with R&D to understand designs and requirements.
- Write tests covering complete feature functionality.
- Provide reliable, real-time testing status updates to management.
Requirements
- Two to three years of hands-on networking experience.
- In-depth knowledge of networking and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP, and FTP.
- Knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with QA methodologies, test design, test cases, and test cycles.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail, punctuality, independence, motivation, and self-management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the company’s security products or other security products.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with AI tools and AI-driven workflows.
