Join a team developing an Ethernet Switch Network OS. Design and implement automation test suites, work with CI systems and regression tools, and ensure quality of SONiC NOS. Requires Python, Linux, and networking knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, maintainable, and efficient automation test suites
- Work with continuous integration systems and regression tools to automate builds and test suites
- Generate test reports, isolate and classify failures, and review new degradations
- Innovate and improve the SONiC Network OS quality
Requirements
- B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Programming skills in Python
- Strong technical abilities, problem-solving skills, coding, and design skills
Nice to have
- Linux knowledge and understanding of Linux operating system concepts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge in one or more networking areas: Ethernet, VLANs, TCP/UDP/IP, QoS, L2-L3 protocols
- Prior software testing experience, with understanding of software testing tools and methodologies
