Design and lead Android software architecture for public-safety LTE/LMR devices, ensuring robust systems that meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, evaluate, and modify software systems to meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Define Android software system architecture and maintain the integrity of architecture and design decisions.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary software development activities.
- Document and communicate technical designs and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in systems architecture and at least 5 years leading software development for Android, cloud, or embedded real-time systems.
- Extensive Android development experience.
- Proven technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong networking knowledge, including network layers, TCP/IP, and cellular technologies.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively in writing and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High-level English proficiency.
