Lead a mobile engineering team building and scaling iOS and Android applications for modern public transportation networks. Own major mobile initiatives, improve architecture and performance, and partner with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of mobile initiatives improving application performance, reliability, and user experience
- Own and execute a scalability roadmap covering peak demand, responsiveness, and latency
- Drive cross-functional feature delivery from concept through production
- Improve engineering quality and velocity through development practices, code review standards, and mobile architecture
- Hire, mentor, and support engineers across different experience levels
- Improve release cycles, CI/CD processes, and testing frameworks
- Contribute to shared mobile tooling, frameworks, and long-term platform strategy
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building mobile applications for iOS or Android
- Experience working on production-scale mobile applications
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects end to end
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture and performance optimization
- Knowledge of modern development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and MVVM
