A global technology company is seeking a Senior SoC Product Engineer to develop high-volume manufacturing strategies, optimize semiconductor testing, improve yield, and support production of advanced computing chips.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-volume manufacturing strategies for SoC products.
- Optimize ATE test coverage, reduce defective parts per million and test costs, and assure power and performance.
- Integrate and correlate system, ATE, and SLT product data.
- Coordinate with wafer fabrication and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test suppliers on quality metrics.
- Drive volume ramp and mass production through test program releases, data analytics, lot disposition, test-time reduction, yield improvement, and RMA handling.
- Maintain test, diagnosis, and yield-analysis infrastructure.
- Collaborate with test engineering, quality and reliability, packaging, supplier management, and operations teams to deploy manufacturing screening solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in product engineering or test engineering.
- Experience developing on Advantest 93K or Teradyne UltraFlex automated test platforms.
- Experience with product engineering, supply chain data analytics, or diagnostics for high-volume manufacturing or new product introduction.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of DFT practices, ATPG, at-speed TDF, MBIST, memory repair, diagnostic tools, and yield improvement.
- Experience evaluating customer returns using ATE and SLT and closing test coverage gaps.
- Experience delivering low-DPPM screening solutions for high-performance computing chips in advanced technology nodes.
- Knowledge of JMP, yield management systems, Exensio, YieldExplorer, or Python for data analytics.
