Responsible for overseeing new product introduction processes, managing product lifecycle, configuration control, and BOMs, and providing technical support to production lines. Ensures compliance with certifications and works cross-functionally to define manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage production files including BOMs, documentation, work instructions, and drawings.
- Lead full NPI processes for transferring new products to production.
- Conduct product changes (ECOs, deviations) and manage configuration control and product lifecycle end-to-end.
- Provide ongoing technical support at subcontractor production line sites (Israel and US) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead company certifications and compliance maintenance, including international and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with various departments to define manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of NPI experience.
- Hands-on experience with PLM, including product BOM, change control, and product configuration.
- Technical experience with hardware components, including writing work instructions and part replacement procedures.
- Independent, assertive, and proactive, with ability to own tasks and lead projects end-to-end.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and team player.
- Ability to multitask on multiple parallel tasks.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with sustainability certificates.
- Experience with CAD 2D/3D drawing software.
