Lead hardware architecture, development, integration, and qualification activities for complex avionics systems supporting defense and space programs in Beer Yaakov, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Define hardware architecture for avionics systems, including electronic units, boards, and firmware.
- Lead and manage hardware development performed by subcontractors.
- Define requirements and prepare technical specifications and Statements of Work.
- Lead hardware design reviews.
- Manage hardware development, testing, and integration plans.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams.
- Lead HALT and environmental qualification testing.
- Participate in system integration and field testing.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in electronic board or unit development and hardware integration.
- System-level expertise defining hardware architecture for complex projects.
- Experience with SPI, I²C, Ethernet, RS-422, and MIL-STD-1553 communication interfaces.
- Experience managing subcontractors.
Nice to have
- Experience with CPU and/or FPGA components.
- Experience in analog, power supply, or RF design.
