Senior electrical engineer with 12+ years experience leading high-speed optical transceiver design. Responsibilities include electrical schematic and PCB design, component selection, cross-functional leadership, lab validation, and scaling to mass production.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical schematics and PCB layouts for high-speed optical transceivers
- Select components and ensure design meets performance requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams including thermo-mechanical, signal/power integrity, software, and optics
- Perform hands-on lab work to bring up and evaluate product performance
- Collaborate with qualification, suppliers, and manufacturers to scale from lab to mass production
- Incorporate new technologies to improve product generations
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in multi-discipline projects
- Engineering approach and understanding of physical trade-offs
- Ability to work in a high-paced project development environment
Nice to have
- Knowledge in electro-optic communication, high-speed signals, or analog circuits
- Hands-on experience with electrical lab work
- Previous experience in hardware/system fields
