Join a pre-silicon firmware team integrating and validating next-generation NIC devices on hardware emulation systems before tape-out and production.
Responsibilities
- Integrate chip design RTL drops into NIC firmware
- Bring up next-generation NIC devices on emulation systems
- Collaborate with chip design, firmware, and software teams during integration
- Extend NIC firmware support for new devices
- Automate routine activities and improve development methodologies
- Prepare and verify NIC firmware for tape-out and production
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems
- Experience with Python and Bash
- Strong problem-solving, independence, curiosity, and self-learning ability
- Ability to collaborate across chip design, verification, firmware, and software teams
Nice to have
- Pre-silicon experience
- Real-time or embedded software development
- Hardware verification concepts and tools
- Networking and Linux knowledge
- Experience defining firmware with hardware and software teams
- Knowledge of tcsh
