Senior Firmware Engineer role focused on developing C++ firmware for embedded processors, Linux kernel device drivers, and contributing to SoC emulation, bring-up, and deployment in data center systems. Requires 8+ years of software development and experience with embedded systems and networking.
Responsibilities
- Build C++ firmware for embedded processors with limited memory footprints on SoCs.
- Develop tools for firmware updating, debugging, emulation, chip bring-up, and hardware debugging.
- Build Linux kernel device drivers to integrate SoCs with data center systems, including associated user space drivers and libraries.
- Participate in emulation, chip bring-up, and SoC deployment across the data center software stack.
- Create code generators to produce C++ code based on hardware specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development with C/C++.
- Experience with networking technologies such as RDMA or packet processing.
- Experience with embedded systems or firmware design.
Nice to have
- Experience with hardware design, including computer architecture or chip design.
- Experience with SoC cycles.
- Experience in technical leadership.
- Ability to work with device-level hardware and software in a lab environment.
