Seeking an RT Embedded Engineer to design and develop software for electro-optical systems and sub-assemblies in a bare metal environment. Requires 5+ years C programming, understanding of communication protocols I2C, SPI, UART, and ability to read electrical schematics. Knowledge of FPGA, VHDL, and image processing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for electro-optical systems and sub-assemblies in bare metal configuration
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 5+ years experience in RT programming in C
- Experience and understanding of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART
- Understanding of reading electrical schematics
- High interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
- Creativity, technical curiosity and high motivation to learn and succeed
Nice to have
- Experience with Ethernet or CANBus protocols
- Experience in FPGA development on Altera or Xilinx processors
- Knowledge of image processing
- Experience in C++ development
- Background in FPGA design with VHDL or Verilog
