Seeking a Motion Control Engineer to lead end-to-end development of high-end multi-axis motion systems, including architecture, modeling, control design, testing, and integration. Requires B.Sc in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with control expertise and 5+ years of servo system design experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end development of multi-axis motion systems, from architecture design to serial production transition
  • Define specifications, perform concept and feasibility tests, and select technology and vendors
  • Develop motion profiles and control designs, including modeling and simulation
  • Conduct lab tests and system integration, and manage configuration control
  • Own development plan, timeline, and budget
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, operations, manufacturing, and support teams
  • Lead technical review meetings, both periodic and ad-hoc

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with control expertise
  • At least 5 years of experience in servo system design, testing, and integration
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of control systems, including linear/non-linear, friction, and robust systems
  • Experience with motion control simulation
  • Familiarity with motion technologies: motors, bearings, sensors, controllers
  • Excellent English skills (speaking, writing, reading)

Nice to have

  • Precision systems experience
  • M.Sc in engineering with motion experience
