Hardware Development Engineer
Seeking a Hardware Development Engineer to design and develop automatic test equipment (ATE) for defense applications. Responsibilities include hardware design, component selection, and system integration in a PC-based environment with RF, analog, and digital interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Characterize ATE systems according to project engineering requirements from new product introduction (NPI) stage.
- Participate in testability definition (TR) and lead design reviews.
- Select components and interfaces.
- Develop hardware in a PC environment with extensive hardware interfaces (video capture, communication, interface cards).
- Support mechanical design and integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in hardware development for ATE systems.
- Extensive knowledge in analog, RF, and digital domains.
- Experience developing with RF measurement equipment.
- Experience using RF components, I/O cards, and software-controlled measurement equipment.
- Experience in electronic circuit board design.
- High level of English (reading and writing documents).
- System-level understanding, good interpersonal skills, and teamwork ability.
