Develop aerodynamic designs for advanced missile systems, collaborating with algorithm teams and performing CFD analyses and wind tunnel experiments.
Responsibilities
- Develop preliminary aerodynamic designs in collaboration with algorithm teams to rapidly converge on optimal configurations.
- Perform detailed aerodynamic design using CFD tools and build aerodynamic databases for algorithmic design tools.
- Plan and execute wind tunnel experiments, analyze results, draw conclusions, and establish final aerodynamic databases.
- Conduct CFD analyses for release and launch phases using various tools.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aerodynamics.
- Proficiency with CFD tools.
- Proficiency with Missile Datcom.
- Proficiency with Matlab.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
Nice to have
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in aerodynamics.
