Build an AI-powered legal intelligence platform used by in-house legal teams. Own features from design through deployment across scalable backend services, responsive frontend experiences, enterprise integrations, and LLM-powered workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment.
- Build scalable backend services and APIs with Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Create responsive, performant frontend experiences with React.js.
- Develop integrations with Salesforce, Google Drive, SharePoint, and DocuSign.
- Build logic connecting LLM capabilities with business systems.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, AI researchers, and legal domain experts.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience building production systems across frontend and backend.
- Strong backend development skills with Python and modern frameworks.
- Experience building complex, performant user interfaces with React.js.
- Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in unfamiliar domains.
- Strong communication skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to have
- Experience building LLM-powered applications or working with AI APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience founding a startup or working in an early-stage startup.
