Take technical ownership of business applications, APIs, automation and data tooling. Build and maintain end-to-end solutions across Python or .NET services, React interfaces and SQL data models, while setting engineering standards and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services, with attention to security, performance and maintainability.
- Build and review React features across the full stack, from data models to user interfaces.
- Develop production Python automation, data processing, ETL-style pipelines and internal tools with testing, logging and error handling.
- Design data models and SQL queries; support reporting, data extraction and analysis.
- Integrate business systems, Microsoft 365 services and third-party APIs; extend SharePoint Online workflows and customizations as needed.
- Work with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical designs and working software.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and maintain application performance, reliability and technical debt.
- Lead code reviews, establish coding and DevOps standards, mentor developers, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional full-stack development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Strong production Python experience, including APIs, automation, data pipelines or services.
- Production React experience and strong TypeScript, state management, HTML and CSS fundamentals.
- Advanced SQL and data modeling skills, including complex queries, performance tuning and relational schema design.
- Ability to design systems end-to-end, including REST APIs, integrations, security and CI/CD on Azure DevOps.
- High level of written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of C# and .NET Core or .NET Framework.
- Experience with SharePoint Online, SPFx, Microsoft Graph API, Power Platform or Microsoft 365 integrations.
