Lead a dedicated squad of 3–4 developers while remaining hands-on with architecture and development of an enterprise AI platform. The role is hybrid, with two remote-work days per week, and involves secure, mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and plan sprints for a team of 3–4 developers while contributing hands-on.
- Architect and build high-performance applications using Node.js, NestJS, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Design scalable microservices, data models, and secure REST APIs for AI orchestration workflows.
- Develop and optimize database and caching layers.
- Advance DevOps practices, containerized deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience, including practical expertise with React, Node.js, and NestJS.
- At least 2 years in a team-lead or technical-lead role.
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript programming and architecture skills.
- Experience designing and optimizing data layers with PostgreSQL, Redis, or equivalent databases.
- Experience designing REST APIs and scaling distributed microservices.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
- Must be eligible and able to undergo standard security vetting for defense-related work.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
