A computer hardware company is seeking a Senior Software and DevOps Engineer to support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and verification for data processing unit SDKs. The role involves automation, system debugging, and collaboration on complex, scalable systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build and deployment processes
- Improve monitoring and observability across services
- Maintain physical and cloud-based infrastructure, including hardware troubleshooting
- Debug and analyze complex system-level issues to identify root causes
- Develop verification infrastructure to enhance coverage, scalability, and robustness
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle of verification components
- Develop automation to simulate real-world environments and validate platform functionality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building complex, scalable systems
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or similar
- Solid understanding of software design and architecture principles
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with Linux virtualization (e.g., QEMU/KVM) and Kubernetes
- Experience with hardware, bare-metal servers, and infrastructure environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have
- Expert-level proficiency in Python
- Strong knowledge of networking domains (Ethernet, VLANs, TCP/UDP/IP, QoS, L2/L3)
- Experience with software release processes and codebase management
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Hands-on experience with advanced AI tools and frameworks
