As an Integration Engineer Intern, you will develop and maintain our internal Python automation platform, write MongoDB scripts, build validation logic, and support integration sessions with merchants and lenders. You'll work in a hybrid model from Tel Aviv, contributing to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the internal Python automation platform for partner onboarding
- Write MongoDB scripts for configuration, validation, and reporting
- Implement validation logic to prevent production configuration errors
- Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate development and automation
- Handle internal configuration requests and identify automation opportunities
- Participate in merchant and partner debug sessions, tracing issues via APIs and logs
Requirements
- Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with GPA above 84
- Ability to work ~50% time, minimum 2 days in-office, with shift flexibility
- Solid Python fundamentals beyond coursework
- Comfortable with structured data (JSON, nested configurations)
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and growth mindset
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-engineers
- Self-motivated and independent on well-scoped tasks
- At least one year of studies remaining, third-year student or above
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB or NoSQL databases
- Experience with REST APIs and HTTP debugging (Postman, dev tools)
- Hands-on use of AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot)
- Git and basic scripting
