Responsibilities
- Design and own Python automation frameworks and tooling for networking product security validation.
- Build and maintain Python test automation frameworks, test suites, and test infrastructure.
- Manage automation modules throughout design, implementation, debugging, CI/CD integration, and production maintenance.
- Translate technical specifications and vendor APIs into clean Python abstractions.
- Collaborate with hardware and security architects and contribute to shared codebases.
- Analyze code quality, test coverage, and production metrics to support data-based decisions.
- Drive projects to completion across multiple workstreams and under schedule pressure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with hands-on Python development.
- Experience building Python automation frameworks, scripts, or production tooling.
- Strong software design skills, including abstractions, interfaces, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience owning automation projects from design through execution, reporting, CI/CD integration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with Windows and Linux, including command-line debugging and scripting.
- Ability to independently deliver software modules and collaborate on shared codebases.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English.
Nice to have
- Experience shipping and maintaining automation frameworks in production environments at scale.
- Familiarity with security concepts, hardware specifications, vendor APIs, or networking products.
- System-level understanding of software and the infrastructure on which it runs.
- Demonstrated productivity gains from extensive use of AI-assisted development tools.
