Join an engineering team building and operating reliable, scalable backend services. The role is based in Tel Aviv-Yafo and focuses on Go and/or Java, production systems, and thoughtful use of AI coding tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Go and/or Java
- Build and integrate REST and/or gRPC APIs
- Work with relational databases and design efficient data solutions
- Own services from development through deployment and production monitoring
- Write automated tests and contribute to CI practices
- Use AI coding tools thoughtfully to accelerate development
- Collaborate with engineers to build reliable, scalable, maintainable systems
Requirements
- Up to 2 years of backend development experience with Go and/or Java, including strong production experience in at least one
- Understanding of REST and/or gRPC APIs and relational databases
- Experience shipping and operating production services
- Comfort writing automated tests and working with CI
- Ability to use AI coding tools effectively while maintaining code quality and sound engineering judgment
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Experience with concurrency or distributed systems
